A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

Despite our dedication to Wisconsin, the State Line story begins 3,700 miles northeast of Madison, in Edinburgh, Scotland.

My plan was always to open a brewery, and it led me to a Masters program in Scotland that covered both brewing and distilling. Before long, the intricate science and subtle art of distillation captured my imagination, leading me away from beer and toward the production of spirits.

Three years later, State Line was born.

We blend old world techniques with modern technology to produce spirits unique to Wisconsin. We’re committed to hard work, bright ideas, and great partnerships that benefit and celebrate our home state. We look forward to raising a glass with you.

Bar Manager Michael McDonald thoughtfully develops one-of-a-kind original cocktails in addition to elevating your favorite classics. We use fresh juices pressed daily and locally sourced ingredients for syrups and tinctures to bring you cocktails that remind you of all Wisconsin has to offer.
