Kill Devil, Demon Water, Navy Neaters, Nelson’s Blood, Pirates Drink, Rumbullion...all names for a spirit we now call rum. State Line’s rum differentiates itself from others by its base ingredients—a mixture of black strap and light grade molasses along with the incorporation of our own dunder. The result is a spirit with a surprising level of depth, complexity and fruit that finishes dry on the palate.
Our rum is twice distilled in copper stills from Germany using traditional techniques. State Line’s rum is perfectly suited for a daiquiri, mojito or piña colada.
So here's to molasses, dunder, and funky ferments. Here's to the warmth and the scents and the fruit, the roundness of flavor, the sweet yet dry finish. Here's to rum, and here's to State Line.
