Our first bourbon is almost here.

Join us on Saturday, May 2 as we release our first bourbon in the lounge. We’ll be celebrating Derby Day the State Line way, with a special menu featuring bourbon cocktails, Heritage Tavern BBQ, and mint julep ice cream from Calliope Ice Cream.

Barbecue and Ice Cream

Calliope Ice Cream is serving free samples of mint julep ice cream made from State Line Distillery's very own bourbon! They will be giving away free samples while supplies last from 3pm to 5pm. Check out their other boozy ice cream projects at Garver Feed Mill.

Heritage Tavern will be serving a classic barbecue menu from 4pm to 7pm. There are two different options for barbecue plates.

  • $35 Heritage BBQ Buffet: Pulled pork, BBQ ribs, and BBQ chicken wings. Rich mac 'n cheese, potato salad, fresh broccoli salad, and cornbread.
  • $20 Heritage BBQ Combo Plate: Your choice of one protein and one side from the menu!

About Our Bourbon

Crafted with Meadowlark white corn and wheat grown in the Driftless Region of Wisconsin, this release marks an exciting first for State Line. From the very beginning, our goal has been to create spirits that reflect where they come from, and this bourbon is no exception.

While Kentucky may be known as the home of bourbon, we set out to make something that feels distinctly Wisconsin. The result is a balanced, layered spirit that brings together tradition and a sense of place.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Golden copper
Aroma: Butterscotch, stone fruit
Palate: Earthy, cherry, vanilla
Finish: Long, dry, hazelnut
